First, you must obtain all of the necessary supplies: gloves, alcohol or Betadine preps, a tourniquet, tape, an appropriately sized IV catheter, a bag of IV solution, the IV tubing, and gauze pads. While obtaining the supplies, you should inform the patient that IV catheter placement is necessary, and why. Do not lie to the patient and tell him or her that it is a painless procedure. Instead, be honest with them and explain that the initial puncture feels like a sharp pinch on the skin and that the pain and discomfort associated with the IV placement is only temporary. You may find it helpful to demonstrate to the patient the amount of pain to expect by pinching the skin on the back of their hand. This is especially helpful for younger patients or patients who are more concrete in their thinking.
Now, assemble and arrange all of the needed supplies so that they are easily accessible. Connect the IV tubing to the solution bag and allow the fluid in the bag to run through the entire length of the tubing, also known as priming the tubing. When this is done, clamp the tubing closed. You will then need to tear several pieces of tape, six to eight inches in length, to later secure the IV catheter and tubing to the patient’s skin. Keeping these items within close reach will help with the success of the IV catheter placement.
Before continuing any further, place protective gloves on your hands, as there will be direct contact with bodily fluids. Then, you will need to locate a suitable venipuncture site. Some common placement sites for IVs include the back of the hand, the forearm, the antecubital fossa (inside of the elbow), foot, or ankle. After choosing an appropriate site, place a tourniquet above the desired puncture area. Tie the tourniquet using a slip-knot, leaving one end of the knot exposed for rapid removal. The tourniquet slows the venous blood return and increases the vein’s size, thus increasing the ability to see and feel the vein. Now, choose a vein that is well fixed (not rolling) by palpating it with your fingers. The vein will feel spongy and spring back to the surface when you remove your finger. Be careful not to choose a vein with multiple valves near the cannulation site, as this will decrease your chances for a successful IV start.
Next, cleanse the chosen site with the alcohol or Betadine prep and allow it to fully dry. While the prepared area is drying, you should inspect the IV catheter for any manufacturer defects and ensure it functions properly before use. Once the prepped area is dry, place the catheter between your thumb and middle finger with your index finger resting on the top of the catheter. This is the preferred holding method of most nurses and paramedics. Now, it is important to inform your patient that you are about to begin with catheter placement and that his or her cooperation is essential for the best outcome. Holding the catheter at a thirty to forty-five degree angle, enter the skin with the needle’s bevel facing up. Continue to advance the catheter until you feel a pop and see the flashback of blood within the needle’s transparent chamber. Once you have done this, reduce the angle of the needle and advance it approximately five millimeters more.
After needle advancement, the next step is to slide the catheter off of the needle in a gentle twisting motion, while continuing to hold the catheter hub. You should continue advancing the catheter until it is approximately one to three millimeters from the puncture site in the skin. Now, remove the tourniquet by gently tugging on the shorter end. The needle needs to be immediately discarded in the sharp’s container to decrease the likelihood of an accidental needle stick to the practitioner or the patient.
Finally, while you continue to occlude the venous blood flow and hold the catheter hub with one hand, use your other hand to firmly attach the IV tubing set, which has already been primed. Remove the finger that has been occluding the blood flow and open all of the clamps on the tubing to allow the IV solution to run freely. Slowly, decrease the flow of the solution to the appropriate rate as ordered by the physician. Using a small gauze pad, wipe away any excess blood or fluid on the surface of the skin. Then, using the pre-torn pieces of tape, secure the catheter hub and the IV tubing to the patient’s skin. Take extra caution not to kink the tubing. Once everything is secured, recheck the IV solution’s flow and then attend to the rest of your patients needs.
Starting a successful IV takes practice, time, and patience. Once you have perfected this procedure, you will see that the above steps are simply guidelines to help beginners. As your experience grows, you will develop your own techniques and preferences. Remember these steps, and both you and your patient will have a successful IV catheter placement experience.

People have memories that are sparked by many situations. Places often make people remember experiencse from the past. Many places hold memories for me: the sea, school, and foreign countries. One particular place that reminds me of my childhood is Sengami Park in Tsukuba, Japan.
Sengami Park is located in front of the house where I grew up, so I could see the park from my room. I could see many things: a cute child with parents, a stray dog, and junior high school students who were playing soccer. Almost every day I spent time there, and I liked the park. Therefore, I hated rainy days. I could play in different ways on rainy day than I did on sunny days, but I hated getting wet. Therefore, I liked sunny days. I could play many things. The park has soccer goals, a grove of trees, and a lot of playground equipment such as swings.
I played many things in Sengami Park. My friends gathered and played soccer, hide-and-seek, or tag. I didn’t like to play tag, because I couldn’t run fast. However, I liked to play hide-and-seek because it requires wisdom and bold ideas. I would hide almost everywhere: in a tree (this was my favorite position), in the meadow, or behind the rocks. However, my most favorite game was making a fort. My friend and I made forts many times, in a tree or in the tall grass of the meadow. If the fort was completed, everyone gathered in there and ate candy. The candy was bought in the shop near the park or brought from one of our own houses. The candy was so sweet, because our bodies felt tired from the work required to make the fort.
Another favorite game was making a pit. It was very fun for me. We made pits in many places, such as in the sandbox or in the soccer court, but the most fun and dangerous place we made a pit was under the slide. It was such a nice place because someone who used the slide would absolutely be caught by our trap. The next morning, before we went to elementary school, we would gather at that place to check our trap. If there was some evidence that someone had been caught, we had great joy. As you know, I am a rogue. That is one of my good memories of childhood’s tricks.
This is just one example of mine of a place that holds a memory for me. The memories and favorite places differ for each person. I recommend one thing to you: if you don’t hate to be photographed, you had better take a picture of yourself in your favorite place. It will help remind you of your memories. I hope you have good memories in many places.

cause and effect...
IS IT MEANINGFUL?
What is the aim of it?What is the result of it?I have also fighted in my life three time so far but whenever I fought with someone at the end of it I could not find an answer for this. There are two main reaons why fighting with somebody else.
The first reason is speaking. He or she who cannot explain himself or herself leads to fight.He\she tries to do all the things with fight. The reason which stays under it that he or she thinks that the other side is higher than me so I can not do anything but fight.
A second important reason is controlling yourself.Somebody who cannot control himself wilsomeone who also leads to a fight. There are many reasons which angries you.For example, someone who speaks about a topic which you do not like.If you cannot eplain yourself thoroughly, the result is inevitable-fighting-.
These important two example is the main resaons of fighting.Even if you donot want to fight the others may not think like you.Be ready and careful about these things.

CHOOSE ONE OF THEM
How do I know there are lots of differencies between them?It is higher than I think. When I tried to compare Denizli with Konya before I came to here and won the university, there were not much more thing. They are different from each other in many ways.
Firstly If look from a general aspect, physical situation of Denizli I can imediately see that the trees which are going through the way are different.Secondly people of Denizli are not very rude to university students but the situation is different in Konya.Another thing is that If you want to go a place from somewhere it is not difficult If we compare here with Konya.Since Denizli is not very large, going somewhere is easy.Thirdly If I want to learn somewhere it is very easy form me.Denizli is not a mixed country but if you come to Konya,If it is not the same, the roads and places of Konya are not very easy. For example when you pass a building after a minute it comes again and again.
In conclusion,Denizli is more convenient for me and it is easier in many I think all the differencies are form e.

MARRİAGE?
Do you think is it right?Would you like to do that?Marrying someone from another culture is nonsense,ı think. It is a serious decision and because of this you must think carefully about it.I know that some of our relatives are married to someone who is not belong to our culture but the result is disappointing. Many people divorce after marriage.
According to a research among 20 people 15 of them divorce in two years. We cannot ignore this.Although many people marry someone from another culture many more people still divorce. There must be some problems if it is happen.
I think there is a reason about divorcing after marriage. It is the differencies of culture. You love your suppose.ok it is not problem but the thing you do not know is the diffirencies. He or she comes from another culture and also maybe from another country. It is difficult for you to adopt. There will be lots of argument between you.For example in our culture kissing someone’s hand is respect but in his or her culture it mıght be a bad thing and he or she might not want to do it.Here is the one of the problems. There are lots of things like that.
In my opinion if you marry someone it must be in our culture.I have always considered marrying someone from our culture and ı will do it.

Animal Testing
Medical research involving animals has dramatically improved the health of the human race. Without animal testing, the cure for polio would not exist and diabetics would suffer or die from their disease. Despite these benefits, some people believe that animals should not be used for testing medical techniques and drugs. In my view, animal testing is absolutely beneficial for human beings.
Animal testing allows scientists to test and create new drugs. Animals such as monkeys or rabbits have similar physical processes to humans. This allows scientists to test the effects of certain drugs. If a drug produces adverse effects in animals it is probably unfit for human use.
Animal testing is cheap. There is a large supply of animals for medical research. Animals are easily bred, and maintained safely in controlled labs. The costs of testing in humans would be extremely high.
Many people argue that animal testing is cruel. In some cases this is true. However it would be much more cruel to test new drugs on people or children, or to let people die because there was not enough information about a drug. Furthermore, legislation in most countries sets standards for animal treatment, and laboratories have guidelines to prevent cruelty.
Opponents of animal research also say that information from animals does not apply to humans. They point to certain commercial drugs which have been withdrawn because of side-effects in humans. While it is true that animal systems differ from human systems, there are enough similarities to apply information from animals to humans.
Animal rights campaigners claim that we don’t need new tests because we already have vast amounts of information. However, many new deadly infections appear every year and new treatments and drugs are needed to combat these deadly plagues.
To sum up, animal testing is needed in the world we live in. Our responsibility is to manage the animals in our care and balance their suffering against the good that comes from them.
